People of all ages want to stay in good health. Physical education is important for children's wellness. The gross developmental skills can be achieved in part of academic fulfillment and requirements for graduation from primary  and secondary education. A number of credit semester hours are mandated unless there's a medical waiver for specialized physical therapy.
